Does anyone know what will keep deer from eating my indian hawthorne bushes and my plants?

Once the deer know that a plant they like is there, pretty much the only things that will keep them away are a 9 foot fence, or the presence of dogs.

Deterents will only work until they get used to it - especially if they already know what's on the other side.

Try planting varieties of plants that have nasty thorns, or kinds that deer don't like. Often plants with natural toxins they'll leave alone, like foxglove.

Look into deer-resistant plants here:

fishing line. String fishing line at the deers neck level. The deer will walk into it and not know what they are touching and get spooked off.
Fence.
