Keeping deer out of plants and trees?

Im in southern new mexico and they are eating my tulips and young trees.Keeping deer out of plants and trees?
Deer do not like aromatic plants, poisonous plants, nor fuzzy plants. Almost any other types of plants are liable to fall victim to the deer's voracious appetites if their natural food sources in the woods grow scarce. Examples of aromatic plants are Thyme, Rosemary, and Lavender. Examples of poisonous plants are Carolina Cherry Laurels and Daffodils. Examples of fuzzy plants are Lamb's Ear and Verbascum.Keeping deer out of plants and trees?
Sorry but the hair trick doesn't work at all for any critters. If they scared off by the smell of human hair, they wouldn't coming near ppl homes %26amp; eating their plants.

You can try the deer repellent sprays or hot pepper sprays. They do help but either over time or rain removes the scent. One of the better things to try if you can is a water scarecrow. It is a motion activated sprinkler that sprays a stream of water when it is triggered. This does frightened them away %26amp; you do have to move it from spot to spot. The downside is you have to attach to your waterhose so if the tree %26amp; stuff are set back away from the house this idea might not work for you depending on the length of hose you have.
Awe, your feeding them hun. If they didnt need the food they wouldnt come so close to homes. Can you grow some trees up on top of the pourch or roof until they are big enough to not be eaten?? Or, keeping in pots and putting on top of say a few pallots until their large enought to plant.

Flowers, ask the nursery what types deer dont eat and buy those, at the borders of your yard plant deer appropriate things, or sprinkle somewhere near a bunch of seeds or somthing to help feed them.
we have lots of deer here and people get hair clippings from hair salons and sprinkle it around the plants. the smell of the human hair will scare them away.
You can't keep them away, unless you fence your yard.

Best to find plants they don't like. Check with your local nursery.
