Why can't you hunt deer or other game near or around water?

note: i wasn't really hunting animals for real. i was playing a hunting simulated video game, and lost when hunting animals near water. Why can't you hunt deer or other game near or around water?
well video games try to be realistic...

your not supposed to hunt near water to prevent lead contamination of the water. waterfowl hunters have to use bismuth, steel, or tungsten shot so they don't pollute the water. rifle bullets are also lead and must be kept out of the water. Why can't you hunt deer or other game near or around water?
In many states if a deer takes refuge IN Water you can not shoot it : New Jersey is 0ne of them. As for the game near water, ask the game maker.
In real life we specifically hunt around water. I shot three deer while sitting in my deer stand above a creek within the span of 45 seconds. In Video game world the rules are different.
Ask in the video game section, since you know this isn't a real hunting question, why did you even post it here to begin with?
Due to the danger of a ricochet. The round may skip on the water as a stone would.
um maby the water interfears with the elctrons in your ray gun .
