What size freezer do I need if my husband gets 2-3 deer this season?

We are going to process %26amp; wrap it ourselves. I know it depends on the weight of each deer, but I mean just in general. I want to get a little more room than we really need so we have plenty of room, but it is just the two of us %26amp; I do not want to spend any more than I have to.What size freezer do I need if my husband gets 2-3 deer this season?
Since its just two of you a 5 cubic feet would probably work. But if you like to buy your own meat from the local FFA at school or some farmer I suggest a 8.8 cubic. We have one and it saves allot when we purchase bread and milk. Also we process our own beef and swine, also deer so it does us well. Also look at the space you have to place your freezer. Tell hubby Good luck already got my two 7 point and doe. What size freezer do I need if my husband gets 2-3 deer this season?
the 5.5 would work fine if you are just putting that in it, personlay i have a 12. reason for that is i butcher myself and sometimes expesaily in bow season it is warm and i want to be able to quarter them and put them in freezer to cool quiclky so i can cut it up without spoiling
you really only get 40 lbs of actual meat of from an average deer so A 5 OR 5.5 WOULD WORK WELL
One freezer should hold that much deer.Meat dont end up that much from a deer.I dont mean a freezer over your frig,i mean a stand alone freezer.
4ft x 3ft
5000 Lt.
