You simply hand the deer a small cone shaped paper cup and say, ';Hey deer, if you have to pee, pee in this.'; That's what I do with the ones that walk around in my yard. Honestly, I buy the stuff but I have no idea how it's collected and I'm not entirely sure I want to know!If you were raising white tailed deer and were collecting urine samples?
A friend has gone into the business of raising whitetail deer and collecting the urine to sale. I guess that is your question. This is how he is doing it. He has a barn with a large room that has grating on the floor- under the floor, the urine is drained into collection vats.There is a separate stall for does as they go into estrous . It seems to be an extremely efficient system.
Are the animals in a small area or a large one. It will depend how close they are, if its smaller are it will be easier. Most deer like to mark their territory expecially males so a swab sample will be easy to get just wait for a leak haha!





If you need a big sample its best to get a vet to get involved with an animal like this if you are not familiar with these things.
Slowly insert the tube, applying just the right pressure, and voila, you have it, you're sample has been collected...
