We always get deer in our yard, and when they see us, they usually give a lazy flick of their tale. We've never harmed them or made any noises when they were there, so I was just wondering if they were happy to see us... or just telling us to stay away from their apple trees. ;]Do deer wag their tales when they are happy?
Deer usually use their tale as a warning signal. If they're white tail deer and they've been alarmed, their tail sticks up in the air displaying a prominently white warning signal for all. The flicking of the tail may be from either shooing away flies or simply just spontaneous.Do deer wag their tales when they are happy?
